TEACHING GOALS

Short Term Goals

My short term goals would be to improve and upgrade my teaching skills. I will try to practice the life long learning process by keeping myself updated with new skills and technologies in relation to teaching and learning. I will try my best to include all the necessary generic skills needed by the students in my teaching programmes direct or indirectly. To improve my skills in making good assessment, I will always learn from my seniors and update myself through courses and attending related seminars.

I consistently improve my lecture notes and other teaching materials. They will be upgraded to compose teaching modules and finally, after some revision, to turn them into  books. To adapt to the changing environments, the usage of information and communication technology is important and relevant. I intended to develop courseware for my subjects. In the mean time, I make full use of the e-learning websites to supply extra readings and utilise it as means of communication with my students. I found that my students were happy with the e-learning and it really helps them in their study. I would like to have my personal web page which allow everybody to get access to my works, publications, teaching materials and a personality inventory that I have developed during my doctoral study.

Long Term Goals

Presenting working paper in Valencia, Spain
My long term goal is to come out with more books. I would like to start with writing an introductory book related to my subjects and books that recorded all the good and bad experiences on teaching which I hope can be used by new lecturers as well as students. I will also increase my journal publications.

I want to be recognised as an international authority in my field.
